Charity Cut-A-Thon.

This Friday, January 29th, Scot Lewis School/Paul Mitchell Partner School, is putting on a Cut-A-Thon for Haiti victims.  It will be $10 per haircut and 100% of the proceeds go to Haiti.  Please help us out by referring anyone to us!  Thanks!

Long Day.

It was a long day at school today, but I did an amazing color and haircut!  I was very pleased and she is rebooking with me for six weeks out :).

I filed my taxes today and did my FAFSA so I am all set for 2010.  It has been a great start to a new year for our family and I am very appreciative of all the help that everyone has given us in the past and will continue to give.  Thanks everyone!

Watching Championship Playoffs.

Alexis is watching the playoffs game with us today.  She loves football just like Mommy and Daddy.

Tattoo.

Kort is going to get his tattoo today.  He's really excited and I've been telling him he could get one since early last year, but we just never get around to it.  Well he finally can.  I'm not a big fan of tattoos and I don't think I'd ever get one, but I'm really excited for him.  :)

Update..
He just sent me a picture on his cellphone, I think it looks great!  He's so passionate about music so this fits him perfectly, it's a treble clef.

Yummy.

Kort and I went to see Avatar last night and it was amazing!  I'm so happy we got a chance to see it on the big screen because it was such a moving story and had great characters.  We really enjoyed ourselves.



Today we went out for lunch at Olive Garden and the food was delicious.  I love OG!  Alexis was so good the whole time.  She didn't cry or anything.  She started fussing a bit and I just gave her a bottle with breast milk that I took along (life saver!) and she was great.  She's so funny about trying to hold her bottle.  She tries so hard.  Its super cute.

Date Night!

Yay!  Tonight is date night for "Mommy and Daddy." We are going to see Avatar and grab a quick dinner :) The movie is 3 hours so a quick dinner is all we get before we have to pick up Alexis.  Grandma Pam is watching her tonight and I know she is excited too.  I love being a Mom!

On a different note...

I finally made cookies!  And they were delicious.  I meant to take some to school and share them and some to our neighbors but we ate them all. So I will be making another batch :) My New Year's resolution is going good so far. My mom taught me to make bread, which trust me is harder than it looks making it by hand, and I have made Pot Roast too.  That's three new things that I haven't previously made.  I'm learning! I also realized I don't have many pictures of Kort and I so here's some random ones I found.

Talking Away.

Alexis is at the stage now where all she wants to do is talk, talk, talk.  Its baby talk, but adorable! She melts my heart!
