Crazy Month.

Oh the craziness. That's what this month has been. I have been entirely way too busy and I let my mind be preoccupied when it shouldn't. I rear ended someone last week. It was not good. She stopped so suddenly I didn't leave enough reaction time I suppose. She definitely seemed like she made the situation worse than it was because I wasnt even going over 10 miles and it was about 100 feet after the stop sign. I do hope she's okay though. Im sure I did ruin her the night. It just kind of went right along with a not so great month. But you know, I think we all need a little of craziness to bring us to a stopping point and make sure that we're doing what's good and healthy for us. I realized I've been working too much. I basically live at work and I'm not happy about not spending time with Alexis and Kort. Together. So I'm starting by taking a Saturday off a month and working less time on Fridays. This is just a trial run to see if this works for my family. Hopefully relaxation will be in my future and not so much stress.

Since my last post, Alexis has started potty training. She came up to me early this month and started holding her diaper going "ooooh, ewwww." then she starts to wiggle from side to side. So I took her to the bathroom and she went poop. Since then I e only changed one poopy diaper. She usually tells me she has to go. It's so nice.

Good Thoughts and Prayers.

My goodness, we get so caught up in our own craziness that we don't stop and think about what's going on in the world.  I found myself still looking for hotels for our vacation in April, and then I open up a new page and see the devastation that is in Japan.  I know we must go on living our lives, but for one tiny second, I realize that all I have going on is nothing compared to the people in those areas with so much devastation. It sometimes does take a big event like that to bring you right back down to earth and see that there's so much we can do even if we think it's so little.  My thoughts and prayers go out to all of us affected by that tragedy.  I have two of my clients that are in that area and I pray that they are doing okay and find themselves in a good part of the country and not close to the disaster zone. I've sent them emails hoping for their safety but haven't heard back.  I hope they are ok.  I just felt the need to post something expressing my thoughts into written word.  Have a great day and hug your loved ones a little tighter today!

Just Fun.

Our life is super hectic - and yet we're having so much fun!

Alexis is just the cutest little thing :) she runs like crazy and is talking a bit more. She can point to most of her face parts (eyes, nose, ears, mouth) and she knows belly button too.  It's the first one she learned! But she is doing the most amazing things and I feel so blessed to witness it! Kort is loving this stage she is in too.  We feel like we get to interact and are always go go go! Alexis loves picking lint out of her toes :) she is sooooo silly!

P90X is going great! We feel fantastic and it's getting a little easier to do more reps.  It's not EASY by any means, but easier, slightly.  Haha.

Work is great too.  We are just blessed at the moment and are trying to enjoy the great things about all that's going on around us.
