BLAH BLAH BLAH

This week has been really tough. Bad week at school with all the crummy instructors (and some good ones) and people in general just pretending that they know anything about teaching. Some people are great hairdressers no questions asked but some really need to stick to what they know and leave education out of it. Wow they suck.

My last day of work was on Thursday so that is a relief but now I'm just going crazy! I keep worrying about bills and the baby not having what it needs and ahhhhhhhh! Not like I made practically anything but it still put gas in the car. Ugh. And my cell phone is out of commission thanks to our service carrier. We are so upset with them that I am going to cancel my phone. I don't want to deal with the BS. I already have enough to worry about to not add AT&T to my list of worrying to do's.

Other than a few bad days, feeling unappreciated and ignored (everyone knows I HATE chocolate syrup!) it's been going good enough. Just a bad week. I figure out of all the great weeks and months and with Baby not making me as sick anymore, it was bound to happen. Now the kid seems to think its funny to sit on my sciatic nerve and make me a cripple, lol. I know it shouldn't be happening yet...but surprise!...it seems like everything that could possibly happen, is happening. I won't complain too long though. I love the heck out of this little one and can't wait to hold him/her in my arms. :) Just that thought made me feel a whole lot better!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone! I haven't written for a week, but not much has happened. I'm still arguing with Baby over being sick but I think I'm starting to win (finally!). Easter was a lot of fun. We watched Marley and Me and Night at the Museum and they were both fun movies. But I have to say Marley and Me was amazing! It was like watching Achilles attack my house all over again, except they had more patience than we did. We sure do miss him. I'm glad Buddy is such a good boy. It was such a wonderful movie and really had great perspective. We're definitely buying it. We had dinner at the Kort's Moms' house. It was delicious but of course I was full so fast, I didn't eat everything on my plate. Kort, our niece Keisha, our nephew Parker and me went outside and played football for some of the afternoon. It was really fun. My arm and back are really sore today! We didn't tackle or anything we just threw the ball around some. It was such a beautiful day yesterday. I hope there's many more to come. I loved how warm it was. And of course Kort's Mom got us all a little Easter treat. I got a pair of really cute red earrings she made and a bag of Hershey's Kisses along with some lawn decorations for when we get our home. Kort got his own bag of Hershey's Kisses because he hates to share, lol. I talked to my parents on the phone and then my little sister too. All in all, it was a great week.

11 3/4 Weeks! Yay!

AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I'm so excited! We had our first ultrasound today and Baby was such a cutie. Baby gave us so many different poses and we got lots of ultrasound pictures. We got to see the face and the arms waiving about and the little legs moving to get comfortable. Baby was amazing! I laughed and it moved around and did so many things the doctor says you rarely get to see in the first ultrasound. We saw it's heartbeat and got to see it's beautiful face. Guess what?! It has my chin :) (Kort says it could still develop his, but with a chin as prominent as mine, you just can't change back, lol).
It was such a beautiful day today, we went to show everyone the pictures and how ecstatic we are. Then we decided to wash the cars and wax the Cobalt. It took 2 hours and we are exhausted. All in all, the cars look great, we feel great and we know Baby is safe and super healthy in my tummy :) ! Yay!

Update - Sorry it's been a while...Kind of long!

It's been a while since I've posted any blogs! Wow. I am so bad at keeping up with everything that I have going on. I figured since I am at home today, sick again!, that I would try and keep up. This weekend was a bit of a shocker. Saturday I went to school the entire day! Wooohooo! I didn't feel sick hardly at all and Kort came in to get his haircut. He looked so adorable. I think I did a good job. Then we went straight from there to my brother's 31st birthday party. That was hilarious! We dressed him up as a " Prison Beeyotch" lol. I will have to post pictures soon. I have lost the connection that goes from my computer to the camera so posting pictures is on hold until then. But I got some from my birthday party and my bro-in-law Lionel. They are funny. I have more, but I'll have to post them later. I love the one with all the gals in the family. We look good! :) I'm getting distracted.

While at my brothers b-day party we get a call saying my mom is in the hospital. She was cleaning at work with a serious chlorox cleaner and a lady dumped a blue bucket out and pressure washed it in the same area as my mom. The chemical she dumped was an acid based chemical and put the two together = disaster. My mom was so sick and my Dad had to pick her up from work. On their way home she got really bad and my Dad got a police officer to pull over and help him. They called the ambulance and got her to a hospital. It was awful for her. Yesenia, Bimb and I went to St. Anthony to see my mom and by the time we got to the hospital, she was doing a lot better. She still couldn't eat anything that was liquid and they were detoxing her and getting stool samples to make sure everything was good. But man were we scared. She had all the symptoms of a stroke. My Dad rarely cries and he was a wreck. Thank goodness she's better now. It was funny though, she hated the "food" they made her eat and kept saying it wasn't food. I took pictures of her in the hospital and afterwards did her makeup and her hair to make her feel pretty in a yucky environment. My Mom's always beautiful though :) so it wasn't hard to pretty her up. She was happy when the doc came in and discharged her at 9:30pm! Oh and my Dad had a huge reality check. My Mom does everything for him (I mean EVERYTHING) and he was on his own for two days and nights, cooking and cleaning, it was funny to watch him.

So that was about it for the weekend. Oh yeah...I threw up the entire way there and I thought my brother was going to spew just watching me :) Lots of smiley faces on that one. He let me cut his hair though on Tuesday and it turned out really nice. I was happy. Wierd week, but all together everything is going great. Baby still makes me super sick, but I'm getting a little better at tolerating it. Doc appointment on Monday - can't wait to hear Baby's heartbeat!
