I did my Mom's hair this weekend. She looks awesome!
There is so much more to life than you think. Just when you start to get too complacent life kicks you in the butt and gets you going again! I love that we have a wonderful family and a beautiful home but most of all, I love that I have such an amazing journey ahead of me filled with people that I love and respect. :) My little girl Alexis and my husband mean the entire world to me and they make my life so much fuller and joyous at every moment!

Night of Your Life - Fashion Show.
This weekend I had the privilege to be a part of the 'Night of Your Life' Fashion Show Event. It was an event sponsored by Idaho Press Tribune, Mercy Medical Center, Idaho Beef Council and many others including us at Studio D. There were wonderful booths full of goodies other businesses were selling, yummy food and a great fashion show. We did the hair and makeup for the event and it kept us really busy! I got to work at 7:40am and came home at 8pm! I did get an hour lunch to go home and be with Alexis for a bit. I wish we could have posted more pictures but they take too long. Here's a few from the wonderful night fundraising for Breast Cancer, Lung Cancer, Heart Disease, Ovarian Cancer, etc.
I did her hair and Kelsey is doing the makeup.

Fun Days.
It has been such a whirlwind year. I am just now getting the opportunity to sit down, catch my breath....and look at the disaster that is my house, lol. I cleaned out the kitchen and fed the kids, now I have to tackle the bathrooms and our bedroom because it is not a pretty sight. I hate dirty bathrooms. Ick.
Alexis has been super needy since I've been working. I get home and she cries and screams if she isn't with me. Last couple of nights trying to put her to bed has been pure hell. Last night it took over half an hour of crying and lots of unproductive coddling to get her to calm down and go to sleep, at 11:30pm. She is doing a lot of fun stuff though. She eats her food now without complaint the only problem is she's given up on vegetables and is a fruit lover now. It used to be the opposite. So I sneak her veggies into her oatmeal. She isn't fooled :) but eats it anyway.
Work is going great. I am so busy there that I don't even see the time fly. I am finally starting to get better from this cold. Thank goodness. I really don't think I could've taken much more of it. We did a photo shoot for UL magazine on Wednesday. That was a lot of fun. I am very thankful to have a day off today but am excited to get back to the grind.
Kort is loving playing with his band on the weekends. It gives him time to get away and do what he loves. It makes me happy watching him do what he's so passionate about. Our trip to Las Vegas was wonderful and much needed, now we're all better and ready to tackle the days ahead. I can't wait for Eclipse to come out so we can have a girls night out and watch it. It is something I've been waiting for forever!! I don't care if other people don't like it, I'm a TwiFreak! Hahahahaha!

Alexis is 7 months old :)
Another thing I forgot to blog about - my baby is 7 months old! Wow! She is so adorable. She sits completely on her own but is refusing to crawl, haha. She hates being on her tummy but she rolls over to get what she wants or else stretches really big :) its so funny to watch her. Of course her jabbering has gotten even more insane but its super funny. She is getting redder hair every day and her eyebrows are looking more and more like her Daddy. She is such a doll and we loves her to bits!!!
New Job - Studio D!!!
Yay! I got a job :) Today was exactly one week since I started. It has been wonderful. I love it there. My bosses are so nice and funny. Everyone has a good sense of humor and it's so upbeat and fun but still laid back and professional. I have been able to do more than just sweep and shampoo hair. My boss lets me help with colors and cuts and waxes. It's a whole lot of education that I love! I have to remember to send my instructor at Paul Mitchell a thank you card for referring me to them :) because I really do love it.
Eagles Concert!
We had the best time at the Eagles concert last week! It was so much fun being there with Kort. Here are some pictures of our outing.
