I think I'm becoming a workaholic, lol.  All I feel like I do is work.  Not that I'm complaining.  I really like it! I'm just really neglecting my house.  It gets cleaned and then it just gets all messy again.  I feel like I'm never on top of everything.  I was supposed to go shopping for jeans yesterday and go to a movie with Kort, but because I got up at 4am, when I got home at 4pm I was so exhausted.  We ended up going out for dinner and watching Lie To Me.  We had some alone time and went to bed early.  Alexis was in bed at 8pm.  She didn't wake up until 7am :) It was perfect.

I finally figured out how to upload some videos of Alexis.  She's such a doll!

Fun Times in Summertime.

Our family has been having such a wonderful summer.  Kort and his band are doing amazing, they sound so incredible and they're a bunch of really fun guys. I love hanging out with my husband.  He is so stinkin' funny.  He cracks me up.  My Alexis is so wonderful and such a blessing.  She crawled for the first time yesterday.  Just two little steps and then plopped on her stomach but I was SOOO proud.  I thought my heart was going to jump out through my throat I was so happy! This morning I put her on the floor a bit away from her toys and she went over to them by crawling twice.  I couldn't be happier. My job is going absolutely fantastically.  I am a very blessed person and this hot summer has been perfect for me and my little family.

Happy 4th Everyone!

It was such a wonderful holiday weekend! We had family fun, went to the pool, had BBQ's, hung out with friends and just relaxed and enjoyed ourselves.  Alexis didn't like the pool so much, probably because it was 84 Degrees outside and it was too chilly for her, but perfect for us.  We had the most amazing fireworks display ever just in our neighborhood! Our neighbors were shooting off mortars all night and we could see Simplot Stadium's display from our driveway. We watched Friends the rest of the night and threw in Independence Day just for kicks. Of course, Kort wanted to be uber-patriotic and wore his New England Patriot's hat and jersey, lol while Alexis and I sported fashionable toes.  What a wonderful year!
